Donor-advised funds continue to play a growing role in charitable, tax, and estate planning—and their use in practice is evolving. Join us for a complimentary continuing education lunch designed for professional advisors.

This session will explore practical considerations and emerging strategies for incorporating donor-advised funds into client planning, including both lifetime giving and estate planning contexts.

What a fantastic Board Immersion Day! UA Foundation Board member Rollie Bauer connected with these incredible Zips to hear all about their extraordinary student journeys! Christina (Aerospace Systems Engineering major and Computer Science minor), Aidan (Mechanical Engineering), Natalie (Accounting – Accelerated – MT Track (Major), English (Minor)) and Mason (Financial Planning and Financial Management major) shared how co-ops, internships, and student orgs have shaped their education. Seeing their leadership and experience is inspiring!

Since 1991, the John S. Knight Lectureship Endowment at the UA Foundation has been a unique resource bringing leaders in journalism to Akron. Last week as part of the Williams Honors College 50th Anniversary, we celebrated the Knight Lecture with guest speaker Connie Chung. We are grateful to the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation for this opportunity to bring the trailblazing Connie Chung to Akron for an evening with our students and guests at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall.

We had a great day cheering on the Zips today for a win and were thrilled to be with UAF Board members Jay and Teddy Musson, proud alumni and generous supporters of the School of Nursing! Together with their daughter, Dr. Carrie Wissmar, a dedicated School if Nursing professor, and granddaughter Dannie Wissmar, a talented member of the UA Dance team, they represent three generations of Zips! Thank you to the Musson family for their continued leadership, support and passion for UAkron! 💙🦘
