Burke Lakefront Airport plays an important role in Northeast Ohio’s aviation community.

BKL supports medical flights, flight training, local businesses, general aviation, and the Cleveland National Air Show. According to the Save Burke Lakefront campaign, the airport supports more than 650 jobs and nearly $195 million in annual economic activity.

NEOPA is proud to stand with others in the aviation community working to preserve this important regional asset. AOPA and NBAA are among the aviation organizations that have publicly raised concerns about the proposed closure.
