This pasted week we had our annual hose testing done. We have this done yearly to take every precaution to make sure we are ready when seconds matter and keep us safe.
They test the hose a lot higher psi than we run it to insure it is ready. They check for bad coupling, pin holes and blow outs.
They also test all of our ground ladders to make sure they function properly under load.
Did you know we have over 8,700 feet of fire hose? That is just over 1.6 miles!

Thank you to the Akron Community Center for the use of there parking lot for our testing sight.

Tonight we were able to give the Henry Township Volunteer Fire Department a $1,000 donation. We appreciate all that they do to keep our community safe! 🚒
