Congratulations to the Tippecanoe Valley Berserkers 10U on bringing home the 2026 Town & Country Semi-State Championship! ⚾🔥

Tonight, let's come together as a community and celebrate these outstanding athletes, coaches, and everyone who helped make this incredible run possible.
Line the streets, wear your green and gold, and show these boys how proud we are!

📍 Parade starts at 7:00 PM on Main Street in Mentone
📍 Parade expected through Akron around 7:20–7:30 PM

🚧 Road Closure Notice – E. Walnut Street 🚧
Please be advised that E. Walnut Street, from SR 19 to Center Street, will be closed for the next couple of days while crews complete asphalt patching and sewer line repairs.

🏠 Residents: You should still be able to access your homes using the alleys that run through the area.

Please use alternate routes if possible and allow extra travel time. We appreciate your patience and understanding as these necessary improvements are completed.

Last night, your Henry Township Firefighters took to Town Lake for July’s monthly training. Members went over usage and maintenance of our new NRS Water Rescue Suits and then went out on the water to perform multiple types of victim rescues.

We are proud to bring these new water rescue capabilities to our community and we’re committed to continue to improve upon them in the future!
