We never know how many people are truly reading these posts. We’ll never know how many people have been touched by Laura’s story and messages. We’ll never be able to understand the impact she had on the world during her brief time on earth. Nor will we ever comprehend the weight of losing her across the spaces she spent her time and the people she met along the way. The ripples that her life and death have sent into the universe are still felt today.

We DO know that Laura wanted this reminder shared on the 18th of the month — your health day, your self breast exam day. And because of this….We DO know that many of you have reported catching cancer early enough to be treated. We DO know of friends, family and strangers who have implemented small habits and routines, to better their wellness. We DO know that early detection saves lives. We DO know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed in your lifetime. We DO know that advocacy works. We DO know that cancer diagnoses are happening younger and younger. We DO know that your health and life, matter.

If this is your first time seeing a post or you’ve been following for years, check your breasts today. Make a note to call the doctor, and then follow through. Ask the hard questions. Whatever you’ve been putting off when it comes to your health, it’s time. If you needed a sign, here it is 💫
