The Green Community Fund Board members received a tour of Camp Y-Noah—Green’s own YMCA camp for the past 95+ years. Camp Y-Noah received a grant from the Green Community Fund this year, and we loved getting to see the camp and the mission up close. Thank you to everyone who makes this place so special. We're excited to announce that the Green Community Fund recently awarded eight grants totaling $25,000 to nonprofit programs serving Green residents. This year's total includes a $10,000 impact grant to the Green Family YMCA to support facility renovations, including resurfacing the aquatic center ceiling and columns and replacing the flooring and lockers in multiple spaces. We were proud to award John & Jane Warmus with the first Green Community Impact Award during our inaugural annual meeting. For almost four decades, Warmus Companies has contributed to the Green community with jobs and residences for families and businesses. Green Community Fund co-chair Barry Hollis emphasized the importance of Brier Creek Senior Living Community and GreenView Assisted Living in Green , saying, "Warmus Companies has made it possible for people to stay and grow old in Green."
