📢 Missing After the Parade

We're asking our wonderful Akron community for a little help!

An Abraham Lincoln hat was lost immediately after the parade. It fell off, and within just a couple of blocks of realizing it was missing, it had already disappeared.

If you happened to pick it up or know where it may be, we would greatly appreciate its return. The hat has sentimental value, and we'd love to get it back to its owner.

If found, please return it to Akron Town Hall or send us a message with any information.

Thank you for helping us spread the word and for keeping an eye out!

Congratulations to all of our 2026 Akron 4th of July Parade Winners! 🇺🇸🎉

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's parade and helped make it such a memorable celebration of Akron and America's 250th Birthday. The incredible turnout, creative entries, and community spirit truly made this year's parade one to remember!

🏆 Parade winners are listed below.

All winners will be contacted by a member of the Akron 4th of July Committee this week with information on claiming their prize.

A heartfelt thank you to every parade participant, volunteer, sponsor, and everyone who came out to cheer along the route. Because of you, we continue a tradition that brings our community together year after year.

A big congratulations to Chad Hartzler, the lucky winner of the beautiful hand-carved eagle raffle!

This incredible eagle was expertly carved by Hop Carver, and we know it will be treasured for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets and supported this fundraiser. Your generosity helps the Henry Township Volunteer Fire Department continue serving and protecting our community. 🚒

🎆 Akron 4th of July Parade Reminder! 🇺🇸

Planning to attend the Akron 4th of July Parade? Be sure to arrive in town by 10:30 AM.

To ensure the safety of everyone participating and attending, access to town will begin closing around 10:40 AM. Once road closures are in place, access to town will not be accessible until the parade has concluded.

We encourage everyone to plan ahead, arrive early, find a great spot along the route, and enjoy all the excitement our community has to offer!

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday together. We can't wait to see you in Akron for a fantastic Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🎇

A huge congratulations to Bonnie & Jim Steen, the lucky winners of this year's beautiful handmade quilt!

This stunning quilt was lovingly crafted by Akron resident Julie Reese. Her incredible talent and time helped make this year's raffle a wonderful success.
