A great opportunity to connect with Congresswoman Emilia Sykes, Roxanne D. Brown, International President of the United Steelworkers, Dave from the Tri-County District Council, and LIUNA Local 894 leadership Jason Legg and Phillip Ralston.

💜 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH 💜

Standing Together. Speaking Out. Breaking the Silence.

At LIUNA Laborers’ Local 894, solidarity goes beyond the jobsite. It means standing beside our brothers and sisters, supporting our families, and looking out for one another in our communities.

Domestic violence affects people of all backgrounds. No one should have to live in fear, and everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued.

💜 We stand with survivors.
💜 We honor those whose lives have been lost.
💜 We encourage those suffering in silence to seek support.
💜 We believe everyone deserves a life free from abuse.

Strong unions build strong communities, and strong communities stand against domestic violence.

If you or someone you know needs help, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or visit thehotline.org.

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

Laborers Local 894 stands in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence and with the families and communities affected by it.

Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, background, or profession. No one should have to live in fear, and no one should feel they have to face abuse alone.

This month, we wear purple to raise awareness, support survivors, honor those whose lives have been lost, and remind our community that help and hope are available.

💜 Speak up. Stand together. Support survivors.

If you or someone you know needs help, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 800-799-SAFE (7233) or by texting START to 88788.
