Tomorrow The University of Akron School of Law students will be able to assist with both from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

I learned this the hard way.
There were moments, more than one where God spoke clearly to me in a previous relationship. He warned me. He showed me what would happen if I kept going down that path. And still… I chose not to listen. And it cost me. It cost me peace.It cost me stability.It cost me things I never thought I would lose. But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough…God doesn’t just correct, He restores. As a child of God, I had to go through chastening. I had to sit in the consequences of my disobedience. I had to face the truth of what happens when you ignore His voice. But when I finally surrendered… when I finally obeyed…I encountered a level of love, grace, and blessing that I couldn’t even fathom before. Obedience isn’t always easy. It will stretch you. It will require you to walk away, let go, and trust God even when it hurts. But it is ALWAYS worth it.

If God is speaking to you about something right now, listen! Don’t delay. Don’t justify. Don’t ignore it. Because disobedience has a cost…but obedience carries a reward that will change your life.

May is National Bike Month 🚴

At South Street, that means the beginning of our summer Bike Shop programming. This summer, we will be in Summit Lake, the Summit Cycle Center, and 915 in North Hill, and we would LOVE for you to join us!

Looking for fun summer activities for your little ones aged 2-5? Join us at Northwest Family Recreation Center for our Summer Tot Programs!

Fun Fridays run June 5–August 14 from 10:00–11:30 AM. Each week features a different themed class for caregivers and children at just $5 per session!

We’re also hosting free Splash Days on select dates from June through August, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Kids can enjoy our inflatable water slide, giant sprinkler, or water table. Just bring a towel and an adult caregiver.
