Yesterday was such a beautiful day in God’s house! From our morning service with Pastor Matthew Brode bringing the Word to our Sunday evening service with Rev. John Higgins, the Lord met us in a special way.Our praise team led us in worship, and we experienced a mighty move of the Holy Spirit. There’s just something special about coming together as a church family, lifting up the name of Jesus, and making room for His presence! We’re thankful for every person who came through the doors, every song lifted in worship, and every heart that was touched. We never want to take for granted what God is doing in our church! Home Lighthouse Community Church invites you to join us for a very special day as we celebrate and honor Pastor Matthew Brode, First Lady Heather Brode, and their family! ❤️

This marks ONE YEAR since Pastor Matthew stepped into his role as Pastor of our church and we brought two churches together with the work he had pastored for two years across the lake. Over this past year, we have witnessed God’s hand at work through his leadership, dedication, vision, and heart for reaching souls for Jesus Christ.

But this celebration is about more than just one year! We are also recognizing 25 YEARS OF FAITHFUL MINISTRY! 🙌

For 25 years, Pastor Matthew has answered God’s calling, preached the Gospel, served others, and dedicated his life to the work of the Lord. Through the victories, challenges, sacrifices, and countless lives touched, he has continued to stand on God’s Word!

❤️ WE ALSO WANT TO HONOR THE FAMILY BEHIND THE PASTOR!

Ministry is not just a calling for the Pastor; it often becomes a sacrifice and commitment for the entire family. First Lady Heather and their children have faithfully served alongside him, giving their time, talents, love, and support to the church and its ministries.

We recognize that behind every sermon preached, every prayer prayed, and every hour spent serving others, there is a family that also gives and sacrifices. This day is for ALL of you!
