As schools start up across Ohio this week and next, here are some back to school tips from your friends at JOG! Your best foot forward this school year is hitting the ground running with enough sleep and starting a planner ASAP. Being proactive with these skills will also alert you to anything you don't know, or are not comfortable with so you can ask your teachers more about them. That's what they're there for! Finally, once you're in a good place, expand your friend group, try to sit by someone new in your different classes. This way you can meet your peers, while also making connections. You never know what bridges this may build in the future!

This , we are talking season, and we wanted to highlight one of our school employment partners from the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program, Springfield High School! Students here worked on a variety of tasks, ranging from clearing Chromebooks, to janitorial cleaning duties, and everything in between! Participants at the school got to learn from mentors on different tasks they wanted to learn more about, while still lending a hand where it was needed most. Great work this summer!

Today we're , visiting what real-world skill-building looks like at Kreative Little Kiddz.

They have been an impactful worksite for participants eager to learn more about early childhood education/development, as well as learn cleaning skills, communication and conflict resolution.Impact isn't abstract. It's showing up with empathy and care, every single day. That's the mission at Kreative Little Kiddz, and that's the mission at JOG.
