Gents,

Sunday marked the end of our 2026 bocce season!

- The 5PM Championship Series on Court 1 between #2 Seed Team America and #3 Seed Free Ballin ended up being moved up to a 1230PM in a effort to avoid the rain. In Game 1, Free Ballin came out punching and jumped out to a commanding 7-0 lead but 4-time champion Team America kept their composure and reeled off 12 straight points to close out Game 1. Game 2 saw Team America stay on fire and capture the championship with a 12-3 win and a 2-0 series sweep. This mark's the 5th overall championship for Team America and 4 championship in 5 years! Congrats to them on a great year!

- The 2PM 3rd Place series on Court 2 between #5 Seed Balligerent and #9 Seed Rubber City Slickers was pushed ahead as well but was ultimately postponed due to rain and then picked back up later that evening. Balligerent ended up taking the series 2 games to 1 to capture a spot on the podium! Congrats to them on a fantastic year!

Championship Sunday Results

The 5PM Championship Series on Court 1 between #2 Seed Team America and #3 Seed Free Ballin ended up being moved up to a 1230PM in a effort to avoid the rain. Sorry for the short notice but due to the threat of severe afternoon storms both squads competing in the Championship Series have mutual agreed to push up the start time to 1230pm today 8/16/26.

The stage is set!

The Championship Series between #2 Seed Team America Vs #3 Seed Free Ballin which will take place tomorrow Sunday 8/16/2026. The Championship Series is scheduled to be on Court 1 starting at 5PM however this is subject to change due to tomorrow's uncertain weather conditions.

The 3rd place Series between #4 Seed Balligerent Vs #9 Seed Rubber City Slickers which will take place tomorrow Sunday 8/16/2026. This series will be played on Court 2 with a scheduled 2PM start time

Final 4 results!

- The 6PM match-up on Court 1 between #2 Seed Team America and #9 Seed Rubber City Slickers ended up being delayed unit 730PM. Team America came out and handled business in a dominant Game 1 but Rubber City Slickers bounced back to grab a hard fought Game 2. In the deciding Game 3, Team America jumped out in front to a commanding lead before Rubber City Slickers rallied to get back in the game. Team America closed ranks and was ultimately able to take the series 2-1 to advance to the Championship!

- The 6PM match-up on Court 2 between #3 Seed Free Ballin and #5 Seed Balligerent was also delayed unit 730PM. Free Ballin came out cooking and cruised to a 2-0 sweep and a Championship birth.

Elite 8 Results

- The 2PM match-up on Court 1 between #4 Seed Grape and Granary and #5 Seed Balligerent saw Balligerent pull out the broom and sweep the series, advancing to the Final 4.

- The 230PM match-up on Court 2 between #3 Seed Free Ballin and #7 Seed Brighten Ballers saw Free Ballin cruise to a 2-0 sweep and a birth in the the Final 4.

- The 5PM match-up on Court 1 between #1 Seed Team Undefeated and #9 Seed Rubber City Slickers saw Rubber City Slickers jump out and grab a Game 1 upset before Team Undefeated punched back to snag Game 2 to push the series to a deciding 3rd game in which Rubber City Slickers pulled off the upset to advance to the Final 4.

- The 530PM match-up on Court 2 between #2 Seed Team America and #7 Seed Squadra Sanniti was a rematch of last years Final 4 series. Squadra jumpedcout to a 7-2 lead before Team America roared back to steal Game 1. Squadra took a close and hard fought Game 2 to tie the series however Team America was able to right the ship and take Game 3 to advance to the Final 4.
