The fleet’s adrenaline fueled dash through the Pacific in winds up to 34 knots has seen some near record breaking performances but has also taken its toll on the boats with several teams reporting equipment damage.

Akron, OH - The Portage Lakes Yacht Club | SailingAkron.org is a non-for-profit entity dedicated to teaching and promoting sailing on the Portage Lakes.

If you are a sailor of have always wanted to learn we welcome you to come down to the Portage Lakes and spend a day with us learning to sail (we have 13 Sunfish and a Laser for club use) or racing with one of our fleets (Snipe and Interlake).
