Bittersweet stuff around here next week...🍪

Our friend and kitchen member Fat T's Cookies will be closing up shop next week. In recent years, Travis has taken Northeast Ohio by storm with his famous quarter pound cookies, and we've been lucky to have him consistently in our kitchen bringing joy through one of food's greatest inventions (cookies duh).

To go out with a bang, he'll be hosting a Cafe Takeover in 647 Coffee on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12 from 5-8pm - the cafe is staying open late for this!

No preorders. No online orders. We're not even quite sure flavors he's bringing yet, but he'll be here while supplies last! Come say hey and wish him well on what's next for him.

Congratulations Garbage Kids Vegan

After a long wait of processing. Our Side 2 Sides, vegan pepperoni snack rolls with be coming to Meijer Fairfax store in February. We will have announcement when they are on shelves. We are excited to break into the retail market and hope that these fly off the shelves faster than we can restock them.

Let your friends know or better yet keep this to yourself so you get some. Here is your call to support a local company that is making something that everyone can enjoy. It’s hardcore vegan for everyone. Thank you all for supporting us along the way.

Akron Food Works' 4th Annual Meet the Maker Mixer is taking place on Tuesday, March 3rd!!! Meet dozens of AFW kitchen members, hear their stories, sample their foods, and learn more about how Akron Food Works is impacting the Middlebury and greater Akron food scene.

It's a party! This year we'll be taking over our whole building, utilizing the upstairs sanctuary (Meeting Hall) and 647 Coffee!
