Colors Across the Sky: A Journey of Hope is a deeply personal story of addiction, recovery, resilience, identity, and transformation. Through a combination of honest storytelling and educational language, Will shares his journey through trauma, substance use, incarceration, treatment, and ultimately recovery, offering a message of hope for anyone who has ever felt lost, broken, or unsure if change was possible.

In partnership with The JADFA House, 25% of all book sales now, through August 15, 2027, will be donated back to The JADFA House in support of its mission and community impact. We are so very grateful for Will & his willingness to partner with us in such a special way.

This week, Sisterhood of Serenity (SOS) and Prodigal Young Adults are coming together for a special evening of faith, connection, and community! 💜

🚨 PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT be holding our traditional SOS meeting this week! Instead, we're taking our fellowship to the BLVD!

Recovery Dharma is a peer-led recovery program grounded in Buddhist-inspired principles (no prior experience required). It’s open to all forms of addiction, and everyone is welcome.

This space is:
Inclusive
Judgment-free
Open to anyone seeking healing and connection

After the meeting, stay for our Inquiry Circle, where participants can reflect, share, and go deeper into the Recovery Dharma process in a supportive group setting.

A little late-night gratitude because we couldn’t wait to share this view! ✨

Huge thanks to RPC Restoration Inc for coming out and hanging these beautiful lights over our green space! They’ve made this space feel even more warm and welcoming, and we can’t wait to gather beneath them.

We are so grateful for all the ways RPC and their amazing team continues to show up for The JADFA House. We couldn’t have done it without them! 💛

One of the things we look forward to every year is welcoming Crave Worthy Creations and their amazing food truck to the James Anderson Built on Belief 7K & 1-Mile Walk for Recovery!

They always bring the delicious food, and this year is no exception! 😋

The James Anderson Built on Belief 7K & 1-Mile Walk for Recovery is almost here! We can't wait to welcome everyone to Kenmore this Sunday! Here's everything you need to know! 👇

📦 EARLY PACKET PICKUP — SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17

⏰ 12:00–4:00 PM
📍 The JADFA House

We encourage everyone to pick up early! You may pick up for friends or family as long as you have the names they registered under.

🏁 RACE DAY — SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18

⏰ 7:30 AM — Packet pickup begins
🏃 9:00 AM — 7K Run & 1-Mile Walk start
🏆 10:00 AM — Awards ceremony (anticipated)

7K awards include:
🏆 Top Overall Male & Female
🥇 Top 3 Male & Female in each age group:

Get into the Halloween spirit! Costumes are encouraged, and we'll be awarding a special prize for our favorite costume! 👻

Free street parking is available throughout the neighborhood, with additional public parking:

The JADFA House is now participating in ACME’s Community Cash Back Program!

Here’s how it works: When you shop at ACME and purchase certain participating brands and products, a portion of those purchases can earn Community Cash Back for The JADFA House. At the beginning of next year, the receipts we collect can turn into funds that come directly back to our organization to support the work we do in our community.

And the best part? It doesn’t cost you anything extra!

🧾 All you have to do is save your ACME receipts and bring them to The JADFA House. We’ll take care of the rest!

Women's Big Book Study! TODAY at 7:30 p.m.

Join us every Wednesday for a women only meeting to go through the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous page by page, line by line.

This is a study-focused meeting, with time to pause and dig deeper into the text together.

This is our BYOB Meeting "Bring Your Own Book" so you can highlight, underline, and make it your own. (Extra books will be available to borrow if needed.)

This study is open to all women seeking fellowship and a deeper connection to the solution found in the text.
