🏋️‍♂️✨ We are incredibly proud of James Anderson and all that he continues to accomplish!

If you haven't already, be sure to check out his recent News Channel 5 interview about the opening of Anderson Ambition. What an amazing example of what perseverance, recovery, determination, and believing in yourself can accomplish.

James has always been passionate about pouring back into the community, and we're excited that he will continue doing just that through the opening of his new gym James Anderson Ambition and starting a new Teen's Open Gym program held on the 4th Sunday of every month. If you have a teen looking for a positive environment, encouragement, mentorship, and a place to connect, we highly encourage you to plug in with James and see what Anderson Ambition is all about.

Watching James continue to grow his vision and impact lives is inspiring, and we can't wait to help share his journey throughout the coming year.

More than 12 years ago, Anderson found recovery from substance abuse. He's since gone on to become a personal trainer, embark on annual tests of endurance and now, has created a space to give back to others.

A huge thank you to Big Red Printing, another Kenmore Blvd Business for donating new signage to the JADFA House! ❤️

Thanks to Big Red Printing Company, we now have beautiful new signage that will help visitors find us, know when we’re open/closed or a meeting is in progress and feel welcomed through our doors.

As a nonprofit, donations like these make a real difference and allow us to continue focusing our resources on serving our community.

Women's Big Book Study! TODAY at 7:30 p.m.

Join us every Wednesday for a women only meeting to go through the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous page by page, line by line.

This is a study-focused meeting, with time to pause and dig deeper into the text together.

This is our BYOB Meeting "Bring Your Own Book" so you can highlight, underline, and make it your own. (Extra books will be available to borrow if needed.)

This study is open to all women seeking fellowship and a deeper connection to the solution found in the text.

A huge thank you to Brian and the team at RPC Restoration Inc!

During last week’s storm, we discovered a leak in the ceiling at The JADFA House, and before we knew it, water was pouring into the building. As a nonprofit, unexpected repairs like this can be overwhelming, but Brian and his team stepped in without hesitation.

In less than 24 hours, RPC Restoration had repaired our roof, fixed the storm damage, and generously donated the entire project so that The JADFA House wouldn’t have to pay a dime.

This isn’t the first time they’ve come alongside us when we’ve needed help, and it probably won’t be the last. Their commitment to our community goes far beyond their work they genuinely care about the people and organizations they serve.

We are incredibly grateful for their partnership, their generosity, and their friendship. Because of businesses like RPC Restoration, we can continue focusing on what matters most: serving our community and supporting those impacted by addiction and recovery.

Thank you, Brian and the entire RPC team, for helping keep The JADFA House open, safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors. ❤️

Welcome Our Newest Team Member!

We are excited to welcome Josh Kerekes as The JADFA House’s new Youth & Young Adult Programming Coordinator!

Many in our community may already know Josh through his work at First Glance, where he also spends his time investing in and supporting young people. His heart for youth, ability to build genuine connections, and passion for helping others make him a wonderful addition to our team.

In this role, Josh will help us develop and grow new opportunities for youth and young adults within our community. We are grateful for his willingness to share his time, talents, and passion with The JADFA House, and we are excited to see how these programs develop in the months ahead.

Stay tuned as we begin rolling out two new programs designed to support young people in our community. We believe these initiatives will help fill an important gap and provide connection, encouragement, and support for youth and young adults who need it most.
