On Saturday, Project Milk Mission attended CelebrateOne Community Baby Shower at the Linden Community Center in Columbus.
We connected with over 80 pregnant and postpartum moms, sharing information about our breastfeeding education and support services. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to:
* Answer breastfeeding questions
* Register moms for upcoming breastfeeding classes, support groups and safe sleep class.
Events like these remind us how important it is to meet families where they are and ensure they have access to culturally inclusive breastfeeding education and support.
A huge thank you to CelebrateOne for hosting such a wonderful community event and bringing together so many organizations dedicated to supporting families.

This past Saturday, Project Milk Mission hosted our Safe Sleep & Clay Painting Mom’s Wellness Event in Butler County. Moms came together to learn about safe sleep practices that help reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths while enjoying a relaxing clay painting activity designed to encourage creativity, self-care, and connection.

At Project Milk Mission, we believe caring for moms is just as important as caring for babies. Creating opportunities for education, support, and wellness helps build stronger, healthier families and communities.

Join Project Milk Mission for an afternoon of connection, encouragement, and creativity at our Breastfeeding Support Group & Wellness Activity!

During our support group, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other expecting and breastfeeding mothers, ask questions, share experiences, and receive breastfeeding support in a welcoming environment. Afterward, stay for a relaxing pottery-making activity where you can unwind and create something special to take home.

Join Project Milk Mission this July for our virtual breastfeeding support group as we discuss “Move Milk to Make Milk.” We’ll talk about how your body makes milk, signs your baby is getting enough, and practical tips to help maintain a healthy milk supply through effective feeding and milk removal.

Project Milk Mission participated in Greenleaf Family Center’s Juneteenth Community Event, where we connected with families and community partners while sharing breastfeeding education and resources.

During the event, we:
✨ Reconnected with moms already enrolled in our program
✨ Registered new moms for our in-person breastfeeding support group
✨ Connected with community partners about upcoming back-to-school events
✨ Discussed new opportunities to provide breastfeeding education to even more families

Community events like these help us expand our reach, strengthen partnerships, and connect more families with the education, support, and resources they need to create a strong foundation for healthy families.
