Have you ever wondered how exactly Heart of Revere works and why fundraising is so vital to our organization?

We operate as a volunteer-based community outreach program, working hand-in-hand with Revere Local Schools to support students and families living right here in our district. But our mission doesn't stop at the classroom doors—we help anyone residing in the Revere community.

Fundraising is the engine that keeps these programs running. Every dollar raised stays entirely local—directly funding everything from essential school supplies and sports fees to holiday meals. Your support ensures that every family and child in our community can live with dignity, hope, and the full backing of a neighbors-helping-neighbors network.

Here is just a taste of what our organization has to offer:
• Tailored Wardrobes: A free monthly subscription styling service delivering 5 hand-picked clothing items and shoes based on individual size and style needs.
• All-Ages Support: Specialized packages customized for infants, toddlers, teens, and adults residing in the district.
• Educational Essentials: Direct delivery of required school supplies, books, and educational materials.
• Daily Necessities: Essential household goods and newly packaged personal care toiletries (like shampoo, toothpaste, and deodorant).
• Student Activity Relief: Accessible support to cover extra costs like yearbooks, caps and gowns, and extracurricular sports fees.

How can you help? Submit a recipe to our current fundraiser - NO FEE to submit. Your recipe will be featured in a beautifully designed, professionally printed, softcover spiral cookbook! Proceeds of the cookbook go directly to our program.

The Heart of Revere is excited to take part in Revere Women’s Soccer Senior Night Tailgate, presented by Revere’s Empower Women. The event takes place tomorrow, September 23rd at Revere High School.

We invite the entire community to join us for this special evening celebrating women’s soccer. Enjoy a pre-game event beginning at 5pm, featuring a variety of booths, leading up to Senior soccer player spotlight, and the Varsity team 7:30 p.m. kick-off against Barberton.

We’ve also partnered with White Ridge Farm & Goods, who will be selling All-Star Spirit Cow Bells featuring an array of sports - $3 from every cowbell sold will be donated back to the Heart of Revere to help us provide essential items to Revere Local Schools students.

Members and supporters of The Heart of Revere were delighted to join the Bath-Richfield Kiwanis 7th Annual Charity Golf Scramble held at St. Bernard Golf Course, this past Friday. The event raises funds that help organizations like ours serve children in need. One hundred percent of the proceeds support Kiwanis service projects throughout the year.

In addition to those projects, proceeds from the scramble are shared with The Heart of Revere and Shelter Care Inc.’s Safe Landing Youth Shelter in Akron so each organization can meet its own needs. We are especially grateful for Bath-Richfield Kiwanis’ ongoing partnership—providing awareness to community members as well as financial support that helps us purchase fully cooked Thanksgiving meals for local families.

Nope — we just moved it to September 30!

There’s a special kind of magic in a real cookbook sitting on the counter: pages smudged from years of use, a few favorites bookmarked, and the feeling that someone you know actually made this.

Searching online is fine. Finding a neighbor’s chocolate chip cookies, a former student’s chili, or a friend’s family casserole in our community cookbook? That’s way more fun.

We want yours in there. Send a recipe by September 30 and help us fill the pages.

Need a book for the reading lineup at Revere Middle School or Revere High School?

Heart of Revere has recycled non-annotated —and often brand-new—books available for any student in the district.
Email us at [email protected] and we’ll get one to you.

♻️When you’re finished, please consider returning the borrowed book or recycle your books from previous years, so the next student can use it.

Every student who requests a book will receive transparent sticky notes - as we launch our Clear Sticky-Note Initiative. We know annotating is valuable. Our hope is that using clear sticky notes instead of writing directly on the pages will give these books a longer life and keep more of them out of the landfill.

Recycle your annotated books too! We will repurpose into crafts, and projects, such as but not limited to book-page wreaths, bookmarks, gift tags, ornaments, and paper flowers.
