🎉 That’s a wrap! 🎉

The 2026 Aitkin County Historical Society Garage Sale is officially in the books, and what a success it was!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by to shop, visit, and support the Historical Society. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, catch up with friends, and watch our community come together to support our largest fundraiser of the year.

This event simply would not be possible without our incredible volunteers. From accepting donations and organizing thousands of items, to setting up, working the sale, and tackling the cleanup afterward, they devoted countless hours and worked tirelessly with a sense of humor and fun every step of the way. Your dedication, generosity, and teamwork made this event the tremendous success it was.

A very special thank you goes to Wendy Johnson for coordinating this year's sale again. Your leadership, organization, and hard work were truly appreciated.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, shopped, and supported the Aitkin County Historical Society—thank you! We are incredibly grateful.

🎉 Final Day of the Aitkin County Historical Society Garage Sale! 🎉

Today is your last chance to shop one of Aitkin’s favorite annual events! Join us Saturday, August 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Aitkin County Fairgrounds.

The first two days have been absolutely incredible, and we are so grateful for the amazing support from our community. Thank you to everyone who has already stopped by!

Don’t worry if you haven’t made it yet—there are still hundreds, if not thousands, of treasures waiting to be discovered, including household items, books, collectibles, décor, toys, furniture, tools, and so much more.

Come out, find a bargain, and help support the Aitkin County Historical Society. We can’t wait to see you today!

What an incredible opening morning! Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Aitkin County Historical Society Garage Sale. We truly appreciate your support and were thrilled to see so many smiling faces. The line at the door this morning was amazing!

We hope everyone found a few special treasures—but don’t worry if you missed out. We still have thousands of items waiting to be discovered! In fact, it still looks like we’ve barely made a dent in everything available.

We’ll be open again tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., so stop back and see what new treasures you can find. Every donation helps support the Aitkin County Historical Society and its mission to preserve our local history.
