Aitkin County Homeless Coalition The Aitkin County Homeless Coalition was formed as the result of a 2004 Wilder survey.

The goal of the coalition is to identify ways to assist the homeless population and/or those struggling to make ends meet and educate the community. One of the first undertakings of the Aitkin County Homeless Coalition was to participate in and organize Poverty Study Circles through the Minnesota Extension office. Some of the things learned through these study circles was that educating the community on available resources is a huge need.
