We remember Anonymous, the eighth confirmed victim of intimate partner homicide in Minnesota in 2026.

Anonymous was killed by her partner in May. She has been publicly named, but the circumstances of her death have not been publicly connected to her name. Out of respect for her, she is being honored anonymously until or if these circumstances are publicly announced by the media.

She deserved safety, respect, and love. Our hearts are with her loved ones.

We want to give a special thanks to this year's S.A.L.T(Service Action Leadership Team) from Crosby-Ironton School for hosting another great Walk to HOPE. This year the weather was not in our favor, but we still had people show up. Thanks again for all your hard work and dedication!

✨We received a generous donation of baby formula that expires on August 15th.

We currently are not working with anyone that uses this specific formula and we don’t want it to go to waste.

We have 3 cans available for pickup Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm. Please share to help spread the word for someone that might use this formula.

HOPE is seeking board members for open positions on its Board of Directors.

The Board meets on the 1st Monday at 5:30pm every other month, Feb/Apr/Jun/Aug/Oct/Dec.

HOPE has been serving Aitkin for 45 years. With caring staff and through the generous support of community members and organizations, we work to end domestic violence in our community with seamless services that meet the needs of anyone experiencing domestic violence.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate, dedicated, and eager to contribute to our mission working to end violence and provide safety through direct services, education and advocacy to all people experiencing domestic violence. As a board member, you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, support our initiatives, and help guide our organization toward a future where domestic violence is eradicated.

Joining HOPE’s Board of Directors is not just a volunteer opportunity; it’s a chance to be part of a meaningful movement, to be a voice for the voiceless, and to help create lasting change. Together, we can build a safer, more supportive environment for everyone.
