PUBLIC NOTICE: CITY OF AIRWAY HEIGHTS BURN RESTRICTIONS LIFTED
The burn restrictions, implemented on July 2, 2024, are being lifted effective Friday, October 25, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. Outdoor recreational fires will be allowed to resume throughout the city of Airway Heights. Citizens may also use backyard barbecues, chimineas, portable outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, or other patio/deck warmers, as long as approved fuel is used and other requirements are satisfied.
Note: The Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency may temporarily restrict burning due to increasing fine particle (smoke) level air stagnation. Check the current status at https://www.spokanecleanair.org/current-burning-conditions.
