If you're on a private well in the West Plains interim action area, this is important.

This Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Spokane International Airport, the City of Spokane, and Spokane County are handing out free water filters and food-grade containers at the Waste to Energy Plant (2900 S. Geiger Blvd.).

You do NOT need a positive PFAS test to receive filters. Just show up.

While you're there, you can also sign up to get your well tested and talk to navigators about getting a permanent point-of-entry treatment system installed, at no cost to you, through the $7.5 million the county has set aside for exactly this.

Not sure if you're in the area? Call 3-1-1 or 509-755-CITY to confirm.

Saturday, May 9 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | 2900 S. Geiger Blvd.
