Susie's Christmas Wish

Susie's Christmas Wish "Susie's Christmas Wish" is an organization that is designed to help families that may be struggling or having hardships around the holidays.

Christmas is supposed to be a very joyous time of year, but for some it can be an extreme hardship. In years past generous families have contacted us wanting to sponsor a family that was or is having some difficulties. This has been growing little by little and also our families that are going through difficult times have increased. This year we have 3 more volunteers that are helping us and we al

so decided that we wanted to name our small organization and get the word out there to try and help as many families as we can. This created, “Susie’s Christmas Wish.” We named this after my Grandma Susie Allen. Christmas to her was a giving time of year. She always wanted to give people as much as she could. Giving and celebrating Jesus’ birth was a passion of hers. Grandma celebrated Christmas to the fullest. She always had her house decorated. She decorated both Cottonwood Villa and the Ainsworth Care Center when she worked there. She made Christmas extra special for her family, so in honor of her spirit of the holidays we wanted to help families that are less fortunate.

💖 December 10th — Opening our doors and our hearts to Brown, Rock, and Keya Paha families

✨🎄 There was pure Christmas magic in the air today! 🎄✨

“Thank you” doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel after witnessing the incredible generosity that appeared during our toy drive. It truly felt as if the North Pole opened its doors and poured joy, kindness, and hope straight into our community.

Toys of every shape and size, heartfelt monetary donations, and smiles bright enough to light up a winter sky —
you helped create true Christmas miracles today. 🎁💫

We are endlessly grateful to live in a place where giving isn’t just something people do…
it’s who they are. ❤️

A special, twinkling shout-out to the Ainsworth Pink Ladies Dart League and the Nebraska State Patrol for spending the day with us and adding even more enchantment to the event! 🎯🚓✨
