Creating Lasting Impact
Aiken Sunrise Rotary is excited to look ahead to the 2026–2027 Rotary year under the leadership of President-Elect Rasheem Neloms, who recently shared his vision for the club’s future.
Built around the theme “Creating Lasting Impact,” the coming year will focus on strengthening partnerships with fellow Rotary clubs and community organizations, increasing awareness of Aiken Sunrise Rotary throughout the region, and developing a meaningful county-wide service project that leaves a lasting mark on our community.
A Strong Leadership Team
Rasheem presented a talented group of officers and committee chairs who will work together to advance the club’s mission through service, fellowship, leadership development, and community engagement. From membership growth and fundraising to grants, youth programs, and The Rotary Foundation, every area of the club is supported by dedicated leaders committed to making a difference.
Investing in the Next Generation
A key focus for the coming year will be expanding Rotary’s impact through Interact clubs. Plans are underway to strengthen existing partnerships and potentially grow to five Interact clubs, providing more students with opportunities to develop leadership skills while serving their schools and communities.
Building on a Strong Foundation
Rasheem recognized that Aiken Sunrise Rotary’s future success is made possible by the dedication and accomplishments of those who have come before. Building on years of strong leadership, engaged members, and impactful service projects, the club is well-positioned to reach even greater heights. By harnessing the talents, ideas, and passion of members across all committees, Aiken Sunrise Rotary will continue expanding its impact while creating new opportunities to serve our community and the world.
The future is bright, and we look forward to another year of fellowship, leadership, and Service Above Self.
