Had a great time Thursday at the NWTF Palmetto Shooting Complex for out 13th annual Aiken HBA Clay shoot! The main take away from the February 27th HBASC Executive Committee meeting was some disappointing news and further delays of the Be Pro Be Proud program.

The Program is in the Governor and Senate budget, but has not been included in the house budget. Even though there is a new chairman, he was not fully convinced of the ROI the program provides. We need to pressure the house to put it in and pressure the senate to keep it in. Ultimately, it is really up to the chairmen. Please remain informed and whenever possible stress to your legislators the importance of initiating and funding this program. The Governor has asked SC DEW to provide a presentation outlining the ROI of the program. Mark Nix provided the budget submission for them.
