Ribbon cutting day!

Today we celebrated the grand opening of Savannah River Mission Completion's (SRMC) Rapid Prototyping Facility with an official ribbon cutting! Cutting the ribbon is SRMC President Tom Burns and Congressman Joe Wilson joined by Aiken Chamber President/CEO Jim Tunison.

The facility will support innovation and problem-solving by providing a space to develop, test and refine specialized tools, equipment and components that support SRMC’s work at the Savannah River Site. By allowing teams to turn ideas into practical solutions more efficiently, the facility will help improve operations, address technical challenges and support SRMC’s mission of safely treating and disposing of radioactive waste. This investment highlights the important role innovation and advanced technology play in the region’s nuclear industry.

Ribbon cutting day! ✨

Today we celebrated the grand opening of Aiken Physicians Alliance's Primary Care - Midland Valley clinic with an official ribbon cutting! Cutting the ribbon is Dr. Cassi Jones and Felicia Hodges accompanied by Aiken Chamber President/CEO Jim Tunison. They are joined by staff and members of the Aiken Chamber Ambassador Team.

The Primary Care - Midland Valley clinic provides comprehensive care for adults, including routine wellness visits, preventive screenings, and the management of chronic and complex medical conditions. The practice also offers infectious disease care, diabetes self-management education and support, pre-operative evaluations, vaccinations, and an international travel clinic with travel-related immunizations and health guidance. Its team of board-certified physicians and healthcare providers is committed to helping patients maintain their health and manage ongoing medical needs.

We had a great time at our Member Appreciation and Trade Show event earlier this month!

With more than 40 vendor booths, hands-on Meta Ads Workshops and a chance to explore the Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative at USC Aiken, there was something for everyone.

A big thank you to our exhibitors, attendees, partners and everyone who helped make this event a success.
