The 73rd Mid-Atlantic Region Teen Leadership Conference is in the books, and our hearts are full! π©·π
The Aiken County Chapter truly showed up and showed out. From inspiring plenary sessions and meaningful service projects to unforgettable events, new friendships, and countless moments of laughter, our teens created memories that will last a lifetime.
This year's theme, "The Pink and Blueprint," embodies the intentional work of building a strong foundation for leadership, service, and excellence. Throughout the conference, our teens embraced every opportunity to learn, lead, and grow while proudly representing Aiken County.
Highlights of recognition and achievement include:
β¨ Teen Vice President Elect Naima Neloms participated in the Jack and Jill TLC Choir and was elected to serve on the Regional Nominating Committee.
β¨ IPTP Nicole Hagwood was recognized as the Carole Robertson Award Recipient.
β¨ IPTVP Lia Allen received Athlete of the Year and Teen Achiever of the Year for Aiken County.
β¨ Treasurer and Parliamentarian Elect Elijah Nelson received Artist of the Year for Aiken County.
β¨ The Aiken County Chapter Teens were awarded 3rd Place for their scrapbook.
A special thank you to our Lead Teen Advisor, Tia Allen, and Teen Advisor, Herlaysia Hagwood, for your unwavering guidance, leadership, and support. Thank you as well to our Chapter Mothers and Chapter Fathers for chaperoning and helping make TLC 2026 a memorable and meaningful experience for our teens.
We are incredibly proud of our teens and all they accomplished this weekend. The future is bright, and we can't wait to see how they continue to lead, serve, and make a lasting impact.
