2026 FEI Dressage World Championships Aachen
Whether showcasing their trademark collection in the piaffe and passage or demonstrating the trust and partnership between horse and rider, the Lusitanos competing in Aachen once again showed that the breed belongs at the highest level of international dressage.

Key Lusitano Highlights & Scores
Lírio MVL — Ridden by João Torrão (Portugal), Lírio MVL delivered the highest-scoring Lusitano performance in the Grand Prix, earning 71.398%. Their appearance in Aachen marked another milestone in a partnership that began when Lírio was just two years old.
Gladiador do Lis — Ridden by José Antonio García Mena (Spain), Gladiador do Lis represented Spain with an impressive Grand Prix performance, scoring 71.134%.
Marquês dos Cedros — Ridden by Vasco Mira Godinho (Portugal), Marquês dos Cedros delivered a solid Grand Prix test on the opening day of competition, earning 68.680%.
Jorge V.O. — Ridden by Murilo Augusto Machado (Brazil), Jorge V.O. competed in the first group of the championship and scored 65.093% in the Grand Prix.
Miestral D'Ferraria — Ridden by Dara (Indonesia), Miestral D'Ferraria marked a historic World Championship appearance for Indonesia, scoring 63.121% in the Grand Prix.
Hermes — Ridden by Manuel Rodrigues Tavares de Almeida Neto (Brazil), Hermes had the distinction of being the very first horse to enter Aachen's main stadium, officially opening the dressage competition on Day 1. The pair scored 60.761% in the Grand Prix.
