This weekend, B.R.A.K.E.S. with Doug Herbert Founder Doug Herbert was in South Carolina to receive an incredibly generous donation from the AFM Give Me Wings Foundation.

The Aiken, SC-based organization focuses on teaching young people how to drive safely while providing financial support for grief therapy services to families who have lost a child.

To David, Julie and everyone at AFM Give Me Wings, we thank you for your incredible kindness and unwavering support for our lifesaving teen driver training program!

We’re proud to share that AFM Give Me Wings, established in honor of Anthony Meunier, recently made a generous donation to support the lifesaving teen driving program, B.R.A.K.E.S. with Doug Herbert (Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe). This impactful collaboration is dedicated to preventing further road tragedies.

On November 12 in Concord, NC, David Meunier, AFM Give Me Wings founder and accomplished motorsport athlete, presented the donation alongside AFM Give Me Wings Ambassador, Simon Pagenaud, the 2019 Indianapolis 500 winner. B.R.A.K.E.S., founded by Doug Herbert after the tragic loss of his two sons, has trained over 145,000 teens and parents on safe driving practices.

We’re honored to support B.R.A.K.E.S. in their mission to make our roads safer for everyone.

A local teen driving program received a $10,000 donation from the international motorsports world.

UPDATE: After much consideration, Burn Foundation of America, AFM Give Me Wings, and La Bourgogne Club de Polo LLC have decided to reschedule the Sunset Jazz Picnic Polo Event for a future date. With the recent devastation left by Hurricane Helene, much of the community is still in recovery, and it is paramount that we be considerate of that.

Additionally, it is our goal to provide a unique opportunity for our sponsors and other supporters, while ensuring an enjoyable experience for guests, participants, and others involved with this wonderful event.

We are currently working on new dates and will let everyone know as soon as that is determined. All basket purchases will be honored for the new dates.
