The Matthews Foundation is grateful to be able to provide food for over 200 homeless and displaced students during the 2026 two week Spring Break. Many thanks to the Aiken County Public School District staff of the McKinney- Vento program for the distribution. The Matthews Foundation is truly grateful to The Women of Woodside for being a major contributor of this initiative.

As we step into a new year, The Matthews Foundation is truly grateful for every donor, supporter, partner, volunteer and friend who helped make a difference in 2025.

Over 160 Aiken County Public schoolchildren are unhoused and displaced. Through God's provision and generous donations. The Matthews Foundation was able to play a small part in making CHRISTmas merrier to 90 children. Clothing and a gift/toy or gift card was purchased and given to them.
The Matthews Foundation would like to thank the Aiken County Public School District McKinney- Vento staff (Mrs. Vicky McCarthy and hardworking staff), Aiken Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the Women of Woodside, Bell Grove Baptist Church and The Matthews Foundation Board Members for volunteering to shop for 90 schoolchildren. Many thanks to the generous donations that allowed us to expand our initial goal of 75 schoolchildren to 90 schoolchildren. Praise God for His increase!
