The 74th Court had a wonderful time volunteering at the HJJCC’s Annual Samurai Classic Golf Tournament at Hawaiʻi Prince Golf Club! From selling raffle and Golden Tickets to helping present team and tournament game prizes, it was a fun-filled tournament of friendly competition, community, and camaraderie! 🏌️‍♂️🏆💕

🍽️ 💫Celebrating Hawaiʻi’s Restaurant Industry! 🏆⭐️

The 74th Court had the pleasure of attending the Hawaiʻi Restaurant Association’s 18th Annual Hall of Fame Induction and “Chefs of Aloha” Dine Around at the Sheraton Waikiki.

Throughout the evening, we helped welcome and es**rt guests while joining the celebration of this year’s honorees and their contributions to Hawaiʻi’s restaurant and hospitality industry ✨

From celebrating the award recipients to enjoying delicious food prepared by talented local chefs, it was such a fun evening of food, hospitality, and community 😋🍴

Mahalo to the Hawaiʻi Restaurant Association for having us, and congratulations to all of this year’s Hall of Fame inductees and award recipients! 🌺👏🏼

Princess Kiʻilaweau Aweau organized a Mālama ʻĀina day in partnership with Camp Pālehua and Pālehua Conservation Initiative. 🌿

On this Mālama ʻĀina day, the group was tasked with clearing out the weeds in a large area and preparing space for native plants. With the help of many hands, we were able to plant aʻaliʻi, kukui, and lonomea. 🍃

Thank you to all of the 50 family members, friends, and community members, especially our friends from the HPU Women’s Soccer team, that made this day possible. A special thank you to Kiʻi’s Mom, Sister, and Uncle for organizing the snacks! 🌸

Mahalo to Camp Pālehua and Pālehua Conservation Initiative for their efforts and stewardship of this ʻĀina. 🌱

Happy 1st birthday ECHO! 🥳🎉💙

Thank you to ECHO and friends for inviting the 74th Court to celebrate such a special milestone with you. We had such a fun time creating origami heart bookmarks 🫶🏼 with the community and filling the ECHO Wishing Well together. It was such a sweet and meaningful way to bring people of all ages together while celebrating ECHO’s mission of promoting early cardiovascular health—truly a heart-healthy day in every sense! 🌸

The 74th Court had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at Special Olympics Hawaiʻi’s ʻAukake Classic, congratulating athletes who competed in the bocce tournaments and having the special honor of presenting medals to the winners! 🥇🥈🥉

It was a heartwarming day filled with smiles, sportsmanship, and inspiring moments. ⭐️ Mahalo to Special Olympics Hawaiʻi for letting us be part of celebrating these amazing athletes! ♥️

In the spirit of the 84th Nisei Week Japanese Festival’s theme, Ichigo Ichie (一期一会)—treasuring each once-in-a-lifetime encounter—we are truly grateful for the unforgettable moments, meaningful connections, and special memories shared during our time in Los Angeles with family, friends, and our sister festivals. 🌸✨

A heartfelt mahalo to the Nisei Week Foundation Hospitality Co-Chairs and Committee, Nisei Week Court and their families, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes coordinating, planning, driving us around, and extending such gracious hospitality to our Hawaiʻi ʻohana. 💕

🏰 🩷Nisei Week Trip — Day 4 🐭

Our final full day in Los Angeles took us to the Happiest Place on Earth! 🪄✨

We started the day at Disneyland with our wonderful VIP tour guides, Keriann and Michael, who showed us around the parks and surprised us with special VIP goodies including exclusive pins. We enjoyed favorites like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure 🐸 and Radiator Springs Racers 🚗 along with VIP viewing for the Paint the Night Parade and the evening fireworks. 🎢🎆

After a full day of Disney magic, we enjoyed dinner at Naples Ristorante e Bar with the 2025 Nisei Week Court and Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Court — a special chance to spend more time with our festival friends. 🍝🌸

Following dinner, we had the opportunity to personally meet and thank Disneyland representatives Craig and Michele for their support and warm hospitality before heading back into the parks for a few more hours of fun 😝

A very special mahalo to the Nisei Week donors for generously providing our Disneyland tickets and VIP tour for our Hawaii group, and to Keriann and Michael for making our day so memorable ❤️

It was the perfect way to close out our Nisei Week trip — with friendship, laughter, and a little Disney magic! 🏰💕
