Last night was a bitter sweet moment for me. I officially made the announcement that after 26 year of being chapter president It was time for me to step down and hope someone else would take the rains. As I made this announcement tears came to my eyes because I Love this organization the friends and relationships that have been made over the years and the fear of all of that going away after 26 years didn't sit well with me. The shock and the reactions from the crowd definitely made me aware that our chapter has made a difference in our community and that in some small way I have made an impact and that made me even more emotional. Needless to say by the end of the evening it was getting harder to keep it together and then the magic happened. Committee member Tom Atkeson came to me and expressed his interest in becoming the new chapter president. I was elated and extremely happy and I officially announced it immediately. Our little NWTF chapter is going to continue its role under new leadership and I will be right there still as a committee member and to assist the new hierarchy. I want to THANK ALL OF YOU for all the Love and Support you have shown our Chapter and myself over the years. We are so blessed to be in this community of amazing and giving people. GOD BLESS all of you and we look forward to a new exciting rebirth and to see all of you next year.
