EvvGirl Foundation was formed in honor of Evan Bard, a 20 year old Curry College nursing student and cheerleader killed in a drunk driving crash May, 2013 and was formed to generate smiles and happiness by continuing her passions in nursing and children.

After talking with Gino Serra who worked with Evan at Perry Lane camp in Agawam, his pink tie dye staff shirt from the year after Evan passed was in tatters. So for her annual EvvGirl donation in memory of her Mimi , Leisl donated new pink staff shirts for this year’s staff. Today, they held their annual Penny Carnival and this year’s local recipient was EvvGirl !!! So honored. So amazed. So humbled. 🎀💗
