National Moth Week is coming up on
JULY 18th - 26th
Why not plan an educational event in your town or neighborhood?
Host a "Moth Night" by simply hanging a white sheet and invite folks to take photos of what lands there.
Like many insects, moths are in decline…
Much of it due to our modern agricultural practices which are heavy on chemicals. In decimating caterpillars and their host plants, we are driving a collapse of the larger food web.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Colleen Quinn, a beloved Pittsfield High School art teacher and a wonderful supporter of our How Shall We Live? youth climate art shows. Colleen encouraged her students to bring their voices, creativity, and care for the world into their artwork, and her presence enriched the spirit of the show.

We are grateful for her generosity, her dedication to young artists, and the lasting beauty she helped bring into our community.
