🚨🙏 Pray for Nepal

Nepal is facing a catastrophic flash-flood disaster that began on August 26, 2026, particularly along the Nepal–Tibet border. The situation is still developing, and casualty figures are changing rapidly.

Current reports include:

• 165 bodies recovered in the initial district breakdown
• 826 people unaccounted for in a Nepal Police update
• 579 tourists among those unaccounted for
• 85 security personnel also missing
• 35 motorable bridges damaged
• 45 suspension bridges damaged
• Approximately 40 km of roads destroyed or damaged

Behind every number is a person, a family, and a community facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty.

🙏 Please pray for Nepal. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, those still missing, and those whose homes and livelihoods have been destroyed. Pray for rescue teams and first responders working in dangerous conditions.

And pray especially for our missionary partners and the communities they serve, that God would protect them, provide for their needs, and give them opportunities to be a source of hope and help amid this devastation.

Meet Parvin and Ahmad from Iran

Parvin and her husband Ahmad lead a house church in a part of Iran that has been heavily bombed. Yet when their mentor from Elam, an ANM ministry partner, suggested they relocate to a safer place, they gently refused. “As Christians, we want to stay and help people,” Parvin explained. “And if the situation allows, we also want to share the Gospel.”

Across Iran, believers like them continue to display great courage as they share the love of Jesus through words and actions.

On August 11, 2026, at 7:34 a.m., a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck Colombia, devastating Cali and surrounding communities.

3,494 injured
265 killed
Up to 4,000 missing
11,347 homes destroyed

But statistics can only tell part of the story.

Behind every number is a person. Thousands have lost their homes and everything they own. Families are grieving loved ones, while others are still waiting and praying for those who remain missing.

Our missionaries on the ground have been affected, too. Their homes have sustained severe damage, and many are facing extended periods without water, electricity, or internet.

Through our trusted missionaries, ANM is providing critical relief directly to those most affected, including indigenous communities who have lost their homes. Our missionaries are already there, serving their communities and helping bring practical aid to those in desperate need.

Meet Nicodem from Rwanda 🇷🇼

With a heart for the unreached Nemba people, Nicodem and his family relocated across Rwanda to serve in the eastern part of the country.

He shares, “It was not easy, but now we have baptized more than 150 people, and we built a church and preschool. We thank you for your support to share the Gospel in the Nemba community. I am training other young people to join me and reach many people. We value your support. We pray for you and your families.”
