Had a fun day collecting truly unique rocks containing crystals! I was informed that many decades ago the previous owner of this property wanted to turn this whole Mound into a quarry claiming that there was an immense amount of minerals underneath the soil! Up on the Mound I was digging and going 5 to 8 inches down you hit nothing but limestone! This is truly a unique area and instead of turning it into a quarry I'm determined to turn this into something naturally sustainable that'll be here for decades!
