So the new alpine bowl and more are now ready to skate !!!! If you can possibly get out that way , you are going to have a blast. Too bad for the afton kids unable to get a ride that direction though :( so years ago the town of afton told us (the local skate crew, sponsored by Ben Franklin Crafts /records/skate /and photo lab!! We would petition the folks at town hall)
They would always blow us off but one day they said sure ok you can have the vacant spot by the BMX track.
But they never made good on that
But I'm so stoked to hit this...evidently there's some other new stuff like quarter pipes and such :) :)woohoo!!!

How would it be to live in a town like Alpine, that actually cares about their skaters?! Cares to help them actually grow into Olympians?? GO Alpine! LOVING the way the new bowl is looking !!!! Sooooo excited to shred it

Because in Afton....this is pretty much what we got for a skatepark so we make DO some how 😂

Some BS anti skater architecture. They sure hate skaters around here!! How bout you give them a place to develop their skills? Where they won't be bothering anyone ...no going or sliding their curbs and rails...it only make sense. It's an Olympic sport now!!!!!!!! We LOVE to encourage athletes around here.....unless their choice of sport is skateboarding!?!?!!!! Our high school has five basketball courts. Allow the skaters here to become Olympians!!!! I mean it's either that, or they are forced to use your ledges curbs/curbs/rails to practice

Please, join the Afton Skate coalition now!!! Feel free to sign that you would support this! Feel free to offer your thoughts! Feel free to offer to donate to the cause! Businesses, churches, parents, athletes...we need your support and help/time/energy/land/concrete!!

We in afton Wyoming have an actual realistic need for such a place....a place for the kids!!! A place for the young and old! A place for people of all walks of life to come together and develop their talents and abilities!!! A skatepark!!!! Not just for skateboarding though. We would be open also to scooters, to BMX riders, to roller bladers and roller skaters, hoverboards, one wheelers and more!!!!!
Give the kids something to do besides drugs!!!!! Give them a way to stay out of trouble. Give them a place to better themselves!!! Give them a place to become Olympians!!! Give the kids on wheels somewhere to go to develop themselves where they will not be screamed at and kicked off and ticketed!!! Every business and church and school in town should be totally onboard with this...they all HATE it when the kids mess up their curbs!!!! What other choice do the youth have? Especially the ones too young to drive to the Alpine park!
