Who is the Afton Main Street Alliance (AMSA) and what do they do?

Great question!

AMSA is a five member volunteer Board who serve 2 year terms.

Our current Board is:
*Julie Adams, owner Rustic Rose Chic Boutique Wyoming

*Paige Alise, Paige Alise - Realtor

*Sophia Steglich, owner Buffalo Brims

*Kirsten Ludwig, Bank of Star Valley (not pictured)

*Jack Swensen, owner Jack’Stand / Afton Coffee Co & Bistro

Our mission is to:
*Promote economic vitality
*Highlight the uniqueness of our historic business district
*Connect our community to our local, small businesses
*Encourage a vibrant & welcoming Main St atmosphere

Something extra fun is being added to Afton’s Fall Fest…a Scarecrow Contest!

All are welcome to participate!

Scarecrows must be set up & ready for judging at Afton’s historic Elkhorn Arch October 3, 12-8:00pm.

If needed, we can accommodate a few scarecrows being dropped off at Rustic Rose Boutique on
Oct 1 & 2 and we can set them up for you.

Which scarecrow is your favorite?

Voting Tickets will be sold at Fall Fest for $1 and you can place your ticket/s in the buckets next to your favorites!

Funds will be donated to the Restore the Arch Fund.

Voting is open at Fall Fest 12-7:00pm.

Prizes will be announced & awarded to the Top 3 Scarecrows around 7:30pm.

Some scarecrows will be designated for raffle-look for “Raffle” next to designated scarecrows.

If you place your Voting Ticket in a “Raffle” scarecrow bucket, your ticket will also serve as an entry to win that scarecrow.

Participants who do not raffle off their scarecrow may pick them up at 8pm.

Raffle winners may pick up their scarecrow at 8pm also.

Registration is OPEN and ends September 21!
