I have finished 70 more pens for the Pens for the Troops sponsored by Woodcraft of St. Louis. I am currently at 258 pens this year. These are all SlimLine pens that are donated by Woodcraft of St. Louis so all I have to furnish is provide and cut the wood into pen blanks (I try and use found wood, meaning either free/donated/small cost for multiple pen blanks), sanding paper, finish and some time. It is a good cause and shows that we all support our Armed Forces and their support of us and our freedom.
I am not done for the year, still have a few more to turn, have a goal of 300 this year. I challenge all of the Pen turners our there to make a few.
Lets overload Woodcraft with a TON of Pens!!
