Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we also reflect with gratitude on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served.

This week—and every week—we celebrate the heart of Toys for Tots: our incredible volunteers. 💙 During National Volunteer Week, we honor the thousands of compassionate individuals across the Nation who give their time, energy, and hearts to children in need.

From sorting toys and books to delivering hope in communities large and small, our volunteers make magic happen. Many continue their service year-round, long after the holiday season ends—supporting literacy efforts, disaster response, and programs that ensure children are cared for in every season of life.

To every volunteer who shows up, elevates others, and believes in the power of kindness—thank you. Because of you, hope keeps going. 🌟

National Children’s Craft Day is a celebration of creativity, imagination, and hands-on fun!

Crafting helps children build essential skills such as fine motor coordination, problem-solving, and creative thinking, while also encouraging self-expression and confidence. As little hands cut, color, and glue, young minds are learning, exploring, and growing.🎨🌱

With simple tools like crayons, paper, and a big dose of imagination, children can create something uniquely their own. Each project—no matter how small—becomes a masterpiece filled with pride, effort, and potential.

We know there are many families and communities outside of Nobles County that could greatly benefit from the Toys for Tots program. If you’ve ever thought about bringing this incredible program to your area, now is the perfect time to get started!

If you’re interested in launching a Toys for Tots campaign in your community, please reach out to me as soon as possible. I would be happy to help get you pointed in the right direction and guide you through the process.

Starting a campaign may seem like a big step, but you won’t have to do it alone. I’m more than willing to walk you through your first campaign, share what we’ve learned, and be available to answer questions and provide support along the way.

Together, we can expand the reach of Toys for Tots and bring the joy of Christmas to even more children and families.
