Re-Bicycle Lenawee The mission of this nonprofit, volunteer-run community bicycle shop is to support and promote biking. We are located at 313 E. Maumee St., Adrian, Michigan.

Re-Bicycle Lenawee is a non-profit, volunteer-run community bike shop organized to get donated bicycles into the hands of our homeless and less fortunate population. We are keeping bicycling alive by meeting the community need for repairs since Adrian Lock & Bike closed in June 2020. Re-Bicycle Lenawee was established in September 2010 and has distributed over 2,000 bicycles since then to the econ

omically disadvantaged in Lenawee County. Volunteers are always needed to learn how to refurbish and repair bicycles. We operate solely on donations of cash, bicycles, and parts. We have new parts for repairs and for sale as well.

First Friday Freewheel was a raging success. No one showed up, but three of us from the shop took a spin anyway. Here's a picture pilfered from the internet featuring three random kids on bikes, because it captures the vibe pretty well, and we were having too good a time to take any ourselves. We don't know where or how far we rode, because we weren't paying any attention to that either. Hope you can join us next month!
