**SUCCESS STORY**

Riley Perez and her mother Bonnie adopted Harley about 2 1/2 years ago. Riley wanted a mini she could show.
We traveled up to the Isabella County Fair to see our little Harley. This is his 2nd year at the fair. He was shown in trail and the jumping class seems to be his favorite. When we visited he had 2 blue and 2 red ribbons with more classes to go.

Harley has been renamed to Andy and has retained his sass and entertainment personality.

Next year he may be in some riding classes. Riley is working on training him to be rode. We wish them well and continued success. Lots of 🐴❤️

The passing of Mancho Man has left us heartbroken 💔. At Horses Haven, Mancho received top-notch care, which we deeply appreciate. The haven's team did everything possible to ensure his comfort, and we were informed when it was decided that further pain management was futile due to his arthritis.

Mancho's life took a turn for the better 5 years ago when he came into our care after being rescued from a kill pen in Pennsylvania. Under our care, he learned to trust and be a horse again, thanks to love, respect, and a consistent routine. When our health issues necessitated, we turned to Horses Haven for help, and they provided exceptional support and managed Mancho's medical needs with professionalism and compassion.

We wish Mancho well in his pain free meadows. We all miss you.

This weekend, we were thrilled to visit G.W. We were grateful for the chance to spend quality time with him and meet his friend Johnny. They enjoyed being brushed and receiving head scratches.

We are cracking up over this picture of Skip we received from Deanna Redding. She's had Skip for a couple of years now and this horse is still the laziest thing you've ever seen lol. Here he is catching some shut-eye while waiting for his turn in the arena. Despite being a total sleepyhead, Skip's been on tons of trail rides and even does parades. This guy's got the laid-back thing down pat.
