Our 61st anniversary ride was awesome; we had 3 wagons and about 15 riders. It was a beautiful day and a good time to get together for a ride and some fellowship with friends and families. A big thank you goes out to each one of you that was there, helping to make our ride a big success. We rode out of Mesquite and rode to Chris and Kristens for lunch. Chris did an awesome job on the burgers. Rode back to the club, had fried chicken dinner with all the trimmings, which was amazing!! Mike & his crew out did themselves. We had an awesome Band; they played some good music for our dance! Overall, it was a very good day!!!

Our Easter Egg Hunt had a great turnout. The Easter Bunny was hopping around and there were eggs everywhere!!
Scholarships
Completed scholarship applications were turned in at the April meeting. Good luck to all the applicants, thanks again to chairwoman Kelly Murray and all the scholarship committee members for all your hard work. Winners will be announced at the May meeting.
Nomination of Officers
It is that time of year again, and nominations for your club officers were held at the April meeting. I would like to thank all the members, my family, friends, and officers who have supported me these past years in our endeavors. I truly hope that our new leaders will keep in mind our youth and utilize our facilities to help just as the founding fathers had in mind many years ago. Elections will be at the May meeting, and they will take over at the June meeting. Good luck to all.

Our second playday is Saturday April 18th Remember it is never too late to become a sponsor. We can use buckle and tack sponsors. If you know of someone that may be interested, contact me or an officer. Please remember that these are for ALL riders, experienced or not. We encourage all novice horseback riders to participate. This is a great place to learn with plenty of experienced riders to give you pointers. Also, there is a cake walk, so please bring cakes, pies, cupcakes, cookies etc.
Don’t forget next months’ meeting is the ELECTION for new officers!
DUES ARE DUE in June, July, and August. $50/family (30 dues and 20 maintenance) $35/single member (15 dues and 20 maintenance)
NEW MEMBERS ARE ACCEPTED DURING JUNE, JULY, AND AUGUST also.
We will have a dance May 2nd !!!! Check our website for more details.
