Please share: June 27, these four incredible artists will take the stage at Oak Grove Memorial Park. We have over 25 vendors, a moon pie contest, a watermelon-eating contest, a bicycle parade, an inflatable waterslide, a dunking booth, and we will light up the sky at the end of the night with an incredible fireworks show. Gates open at 3:00 pm.

We are thrilled to proclaim that the Oak Grove Memorial Park's Veterans Memorial will remain on display until after 4th of July weekend, on which it will be respectfully taken down and re-erected the first weekend in November for Veterans Day and our second annual Hero Walk, a tribute to our nation's bravest. We invite all who haven't experienced our tribute to please stop by the park.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Lance Northcutt for performing Taps in honor of our fallen Veterans.

We will be at Oak Grove Memorial Park at 5:45 in the morning. Lance Northcutt will be playing taps on the trumpet and we will be lowering our flag to half-staff, honoring the Veterans we have lost.

I'd like to extend my gratitude to Danny Johnson, Brent Sims, Patty Douglas, Greylan Glaze, and Carla Campbell for their assistance in erecting the Veterans memorial today, which will be showcased for the next two weeks. The public is invited to visit Oak Grove Memorial Park to view the 200 stars and crosses on display through Memorial Day and to sign the guest book.

We will be setting up the Veterans memorial at the Oak Grove Memorial Park tomorrow afternoon, Friday the 15th at 4 o'clock. If anyone would like to come and help, they are more than welcome.
