About the Organization:
Haven’s Future is a charitable organization established by Stevevonna Evans after her personal experience with Children and Family Services. Her sole objective for the organization is to ensure as little damage to children as possible as they and their families navigate through the difficult, confusing and detrimental system that is Children and Family Services. Haven's Future looks to be the peace and helping hand for families doing their best to keep their children in their custody or get them back if they have already been removed.
Statistics
Each year, approximately 3.5 million children are removed from their families. Of these children, 2.5 million are wrongly removed, and of those who were found to truly be in abusive situations, 300,000 are at higher risks of experiencing emotional abuse, physical abuse and even death while in the care and custody of Children and Family Services.
Haven's Future hopes to work hand in hand with Children and Family Services to improve the process that has become increasingly overwhelming and at times dangerous to the children they look to protect.
With your Support, all proceeds collected through this event will go to benefit the Life changing programs provided by Haven's Future for foster children, teens and the families wrongly affected by CFS.
