CALM - Chamberlain University - Addison, IL Campus Committee of Achievement, Learning, and Mentoring at Chamberlain University - Addison campus C.A.L.M. is a committee of achievement, learning, and mentoring.

It is an organization composted of current students and alumni who guide new students through the process of transitioning into and through nursing school. In addition to mentoring fellow students, C.A.L.M. hosts events on campus for its mentors and mentees to gather and form new relationships and stronger bonds. Every event held by C.A.L.M. is free of charge to attend, but a small donation, such

as a non-perishable food item, can be given which will be donated to a local food pantry. will also organize different volunteering opportunities in the community throughout the year for interested members to participate in. In order to become a mentor for C.A.L.M., there are a few requirements that you must meet. These requirements include:

1. Having a CGPA of at least 3.0
2. Being in good standing with the college
3. Have successfully passed Nursing Fundamentals (NR224)
4. Fill out an interest form, that you can get by contacting a C.A.L.M. adviser or executive board member
5. Must be able to fulfill a two semester obligation, not including those who are graduating.
5. Attending C.A.L.M.'s new mentor event

C.A.L.M. is a committee of achievement, learning, and mentoring. C.A.L.M. Mentor Requirements: 1. Have successfully passed Nursing Fundamentals (NR224) 2. Having a CGPA of at least 2.8 3. Being in good standing with the college 4. Fill out an interest form, that you can get by contacting a C.A.L.M. adviser or executive board member

Mentors must: 1. Fulfill a Week one or six NR103 class visit 2. Maintain contact and support for 5-7 mentees through their first semester at Chamberlain 3. Attend 2 general body meetings 4.
