TXCPA Southeast Texas The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) is a nonprofit, voluntary, professional organization representing Texas CPAs.

TXCPA has 20 local chapters statewide and has 29,000 members. The Society is committed to serving the public interest with programs that advance the highest standards of ethics and practice within the CPA profession.

Scholarships don’t just support students. They invest in future CPAs.

When Lexus Wilkerson, CPA, received a TXCPA Southeast Texas scholarship, she was working toward bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting at Lamar University. The support helped ease the financial pressure of school, allowing her to put savings toward CPA exam prep materials instead of tuition.

Since then, she has earned both degrees, passed the CPA Exam, become a licensed CPA and launched her career as a Senior Financial Analyst in Walmart Inc.’s Accounting and Finance Development Program.
