🎉 Exciting News for the Wood Dale Community!

We are thrilled to announce that Food for the Soul will continue serving our Wood Dale neighbors through a new partnership with Good Samaritan Church in Addison.

Beginning Saturday, June 13th, 2026, our Wood Dale Food Pantry will offer food distribution every Saturday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at:

📍 Good Samaritan Church

Addison, IL 60101

We are incredibly grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and support we’ve received over the past several weeks. The Wood Dale and Addison communities have reminded us what can happen when people come together to serve others.

What seemed like a setback has become a new opportunity to continue feeding families, sharing hope, and showing God’s love.

We look forward to welcoming families on Saturday, June 13!

NOTE: This location is continuing to stay open to the public every Thursday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

❤️ Thank you for your prayers, support, and belief in this mission.

To our friends in the Wood Dale and Addison communities:

Thank you for the incredible prayers, encouragement, and support you’ve shown Food for the Soul Ministries. ❤️

While our Wood Dale pantry remains in transition, please know that we have not forgotten about the families we serve. We have been working behind the scenes and hope to share an exciting announcement soon about how we can continue serving the Wood Dale community.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and patience.

Stay tuned!

We are saddened to share that the Food for the Soul pantry will no longer be able to operate from our current Wood Dale location due to a decision made by the landlord.

While this news is heartbreaking and unexpected, we trust that God is in complete control and is already preparing the next home for this ministry. ❤️

Food for the Soul is more than a location — it’s a mission to serve families, provide hope, and love our community well. That mission will continue.

In the meantime, we want to direct any families in need to our Addison pantry:

We deeply appreciate your prayers during this transition.

Over the last 12 months, Food for the Soul Ministries has served over 4,900 individuals through our Wood Dale food pantry.

That’s nearly 5,000 people who have been fed, encouraged, and prayed for.

Each week, we serve an average of 230 families in our community and the need continues to grow.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter helping make this possible. We welcome both your prayers and your financial support as we continue serving local families with dignity, hope, and love.
