More specifically, the corporation is organized to provide local Police, Fire and supporting departments with access to third-party educational training and safety programs designed to help police officers & firefighters perform their jobs. Additionally, the corporation is organized to honor police officers, firefighters, and citizens with recognition for extraordinary achievement, outstanding ser
vice, and heroic acts in the community. The Blue Blaze will support and provide higher education scholarships to the graduating seniors in the community. The Blue Blaze signature fundraiser will be the Police and Fire Appreciation Gala
This annual event will recognize the Departments’ finest with an awards presentation for Valor, Distinguished Service, Community Relations, coupled with a Citizens and Youth Service Awards to residents of the community. A special recognition award will be presented to those who have accomplished promotions, retirement, or who have paid the ultimate price in the line of duty. The Blue Blaze plans to have additional fundraising events throughout the year to raise additional funds to help support The Blue Blaze efforts.
