Registration is open for our 2025 A-F Youth Soccer Program!⚽

Registering for the A-F Youth Soccer Program will be through the YMCA website or by calling the Adams or Wisconsin Rapids YMCA. Below are the links and step-by-step directions for registering your child for the youth soccer program. The A-F Youth Soccer Program will have practices on Tuesdays and games on Thursdays during July. You will see each age group's practice/game time when registering. (Select the grade your child will enter for the 2025-2026 academic school year.)

The A-F Youth Soccer Program thrives on volunteer coaches to support each age group and their teams. Please indicate on your registration form if you are interested in coaching. If you commit to coaching, we can refund your child's registration fee! Below are the links and step-by-step directions for registering your child for the youth soccer program.

Click Adams Soccer
Select the summer session for your child's grade. (Select the grade your child will enter for the 2025-2026 academic school year.)
You can access the registration page with your login information if you are an existing YMCA member.

If you are not a member of the YMCA, then follow the instructions below:
Select Sign Up
Select Adams
Scroll down to the bottom and select Non-Member.
Once you choose a non-member, you will be taken to the soccer registration page.

Registration Closes: June 13th.

Tonight’s Game Decision!

After speaking with our YMCA representative, we have canceled our 5k-1st and 2nd-3rd grade sessions due to the high chance of thunderstorms this evening.

Our 4th-5th and 6th-8th sessions will play their games tonight. We will follow the WIAA regulations for lighting delays if we have thunderstorms. The rules state that they must stop play when lightning is present and wait 30 minutes until it has cleared. If it is raining, without lightning, we will carry on with the game, so please plan accordingly

Thank you all for understanding when it comes to navigating the weather.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast does not look promising for our session tonight. We will determine if our last session will be canceled by 2:30 pm, so please be on the lookout this afternoon.

Good morning, AF Youth Soccer! We are starting the last week of our program with practice tonight!

Our session times are posted for each age group. Players should bring cleats, shinguards, soccer socks, and water for our practice tonight!

For our younger age group, please report to the same field you practiced on last week. For our 4th-5th, let's have everyone report to field 2, and we will split everyone into teams.

A big reminder to our middle school families is that we have been asked not to park on the grass alongside the field. So please use the parking lot. 🙂

Our photos from last week have been completed! I sent an email with Kaz Conrad's instructions for downloading. If you have yet to receive an email, I do not have an email address on file for you. Please send me a direct message with your email address so I can receive the photos.

It's Game Day and Picture Day! 📸⚽️

I have our session's game schedule and the game's field below. The field map is also posted. We ask that players wear their team-colored T-shirts, shinguards (inside the socks), long socks, and cleats!

Each age group will have its own picture time, so please look at the time below. Some picture times are before our regular session times. We recognize that if families cannot come early, that is okay. This was the only schedule that would not cut into our game time tonight.

Parents and coaches are asked to be with their team while waiting for their team photo to be taken. The photo costs 20 dollars and is due tonight. Parents will receive the team photo and the individual photo for this price. Parents will be asked to write their kid's name down, so you must be with your child!

Picture Times:
5K-1st session: 5:45 pm (After their game.)
2nd-3rd session: 5:15 pm (Before their game)
4th-5th session: 6:15 pm (Before their game)
6th-8th session: 7:15 pm (Before their game)

Due to the possibility of inclement thunderstorms this evening, the YMCA would like our program to err on the side of caution and cancel tonight's practice.

We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to game day on Thursday! We will also reschedule our picture day for Thursday.

Announcements for tomorrow's practice! The weather forecast shows thunderstorms for tomorrow during our youth program practice time.

We will determine if the practice is canceled by 1 p.m. tomorrow, so please check our Facebook post tomorrow.

If practice is not canceled, we ask all players to wear their team shirts tomorrow. We will have Caz Conrad Photography take team and individual headshots for every team in our program.

If families want these photos, the cost will be $20; payment is due tomorrow. Please take a look at the picture order for each age group. We will have each team go one at a time while the other teams are practicing. Kaz has asked all parents to go to the picture area when their child is getting their picture taken, regardless of whether they are buying these photos!

Each team will have a five-minute warm-up, and then we will begin our games. Because of the high numbers for our younger age groups, please let your coach know if any parent is willing to ref. We will take any help we can get!

For our 4th and 5th grade session, your game will be played on field 2.

Please stop by our concession stands near the shed to support the AF boys' high school soccer team! All the proceeds will help the boys attend a Wisconsin Badger Men’s Soccer Game this fall.

Also! This key was found after the middle school practice session. Coach Jason will bring it to the game this evening if it is yours!
