Several of the Grant Sky Eagles volunteered today in Casey helping clean up the city parks and baseball field. Trash was picked up, w**ds were pulled and sticks picked up, as well as lots of work at the ball field (cleaning up the fence line, mowing, w**d trimming). Thanks to all kids and parents who showed up to help!!!!

The Grant Sky Eagles 4H Club members agree that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is by giving back to the community and singing loud for all to hear. This afternoon, the club officers and members presented the Adair Casey Food Pantry with a check for $350 to help buy meat for the food pantry holiday food baskets. The funds donated were raised from the cookie mix jars and hot cocoa mix jars that were sold during the Christmas festivals in Adair and Casey. Cindy Lundy accepted the check on behalf of the food pantry. The kids finished off the afternoon by singing Christmas carols at The New Homestead and passing out stocking that were filled with goodies for the residents. 🎅🏼🎄🎁👍💕

Speaking of supporting the Adair Casey Food Pantry, the Grant Sky Eagles 4H Club will be set up at Christmas in Casey with their jar cookie mix and hot cocoa mix. All profits earned from their fundraiser will go to the food pantry to help purchase meat for the holiday food boxes that they distribute to those in need.

Come support the Grant Sky Eagles this afternoon! The club is selling jars of cookie mix, brownie mix and hot cocoa mix with all profits going to purchase meat for the Holiday Baskets provided by the Adair and Casey Food Panry.
